Grandfather went walking again.
Why does he go on so many walks?
Hmph, at least he's content.
Grandfather doesn't know.
If only Grandfather knew...
If Grandfather knew, then maybe he wouldn't go on so many walks.
He loves me, but I wish he was more useful.
Grandfather's home.
Now I have to act nice...
Great...
If only Grandfather wouldn't have taken it upon himself to look after me when Mom and Dad died...

Thoughts...
When is manipulation acceptable? Is it right to create and play worship music that works the audience using dynamics and stylized, purposeful, slow-downs and speed-ups to get the crowd engaged? When you hear that verse before the chorus slowly building up, and then the drums come in and the vocalist gives it all they've got, you feel your blood rush and your hairs tingle, is that not manipulation? Anyway, something to think about.
Humans are so self-centered. Always talking about themselves, looking for pity, or trying to impress.
One without glory...
The man who dances alone.
He finds himself happy.
Happy, yet alone.
Alone with his few.
Not to prove, nor to pride.
One without glory.
Not without love.
No. All is for love.
One without glory. What I hope to be.

Prayer Team I
Last night I voyaged with Joseph to Northwest Fellowship where we received our official 'Prayer Team' shirts, met the first half of the team -which included The Cripple Who Is Whole, The Sage of Reason, and HonestQ, among others-, had a good prayer session, then carpooled to Austin House of Prayer (AHOP).
I love AHOP.
I meditated and conversed in the lobby while the worship band played in the next room for about an hour. After that, I met the rest of what would become the full 'Prayer Team'.
I didn't know what to expect, and didn't know if I could trust the people around me to represent Christ on 6th street. However, my worries soon faded as we prayed and began to walk down the road.
We had a good night. One of the more heart-tugging stories of the night belonged to a young man we met; Two weeks ago he lost his girlfriend of 12 years, when she overdosed and and died in his arms. They have a 6 year old daughter. He was desperate for help, and he had hardly eaten, if at all, since she OD'd.
One member of the team talked and prayed with him for 2 hours, when The Cripple Who Is Whole called a friend who runs the downtown ministry 'ARM'. They promptly arrived in a van, and as the young man entered I was able to see a hint of relief and gratefulness through his overwhelming depression.

Churches.
This morning after worship and baptisms at The Vineyard, Dr. Occupied and I picked up Miss Bliss and drove to the Lake Hills Downtown church just in time to catch the last bit of worship. We sat through the video sermon on financial security -which wasn't too bad- then enjoyed one final song before being dismissed. The church rents out the Austin Musical Hall every Sunday, which makes for a very interesting atmosphere. After service Dr. Occupied and I parted ways with Miss Bliss before having lunch with the worship leader from Lake Hills Downtown. We sat outside, and together shared good food, interesting conversation, and pleasant weather...
-----
Later that evening I attended a particular in-home Bible study for the first time. A strong message was preached. When arriving I did not expect to be taught the importance of communion. Ask me about the details if interested, but in short: The Bible says that the early church took communion everyday. The Bible also connects communion to healing.

I'm tired... I might edit this post later...

First!
Greetings, I'm from planet earth, and I live in a large box that has dividing walls scattered throughout. ;)
----
Mr. Focus and I had a good time today. Nothing too spectacular, just music and mostly-light conversation.
----
Last night I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the company of The Knight of Tender-Heartedness his lovely dame Lady Wisdom, and Sir Joy. Much conversation and laughter. Very enjoyable. We discussed many pressing and important topics, and useful advice was provided. Thank you, my friends.
----
I dined, and shortly wrestled with Mr. Kind and Sir Joy this morning. Mr. Kind seems to always be able to lift my spirit.
----
Fin.
